FO: Viggeby, aka Louie's Sweater
Pattern: "Viggeby" from Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton, Book #2
Yarn: Rowan Yorkshire Tweed Chunky, color = Flaming, purchased at Knit Happens retail
Fiber: 100% wool
Amount: 2 skeins (approx. 218 yards, but I only used about half of the second skein)
Needles: US #10, Addi Turbos
This is the sweater I made for my sister-in-law's dog Louie. Since Louie doesn't live with me and I couldn't take a picture of him in the sweater, the Bean's dog "Pup" is standing in as a model. His legs are a little shorter than Louie's, but you get the picture. Here's a side view:
I tell you what, this is one THICK sweater. I couldn't imagine using this yarn for a human sweater. It would probably be good for an outer-garment sweater. Very sturdy. I did not give it a bath yet because I wanted my sister-in-law to try it on Louie first. It might soften up a little after it has been washed. I love the color...very manly. It will be perfect for Louie. Hopefully he will be more inclined to WEAR it than EAT it.
