As we last reported, here was Megan a few days ago...needing a little more "something, something" to be complete.
And here is Megan as of yesterday....
...yes, she has fallen into the frog pond. How did she fall in, you ask? Let me tell ya.
I got an extra ball of yarn from KH, did an extra round of decreases, cast-off, and put her seam together with stitch markers so I could try her on. Hmmm..seems a little roomy. Ask husband. "Makes you look old..I don't get it" are the comments I get. She really just wasn't cutting it for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember if I made the small or x-small, so I went ahead and sent her on to the pond. She was just way too big from any angle. Unless my boobs were going to grow miraculously overnight (which I know by now doesn't happen), she just couldn't stay. I'm not too disappointed...really. I'm just not sure what to do with the yarn. Maybe I can make a poncho for my daughter. I bet she wouldn't mind "looking old." Anyone know of any patterns using yarn with the gauge 5 1/2 st to 4" using 36 US needles?
Didn't think so.
