Conversation I had with the Bean yesterday in the car:
Bean: "Mommy, "V" (her friend/arch nemisis at school) told me that I don't know everything, and I told him that I did"
Me: "Well, he is kind of right because no one can know everything there is to know in the world."
"Yeah, well, I do know EVERYTHING."
"How do you figure?"
"I know how to go to the potty all by myself."
"Well, if I know how to go to the potty by myself, that means I know EVERYTHING. And that's what I told him."
Now that I think about it, she did start "knowing" everything around the time she learned to go to the potty by herself. Of course I didn't bring up the fact that if you have to ask someone to turn on the light each time because you are afraid of a dark bathroom, you really aren't going by yourself. But then again, what she doesn't know won't hurt her ;-)
